On Tuesday, Dec. 4, WiSTEM from 1871 visited the Chicago Connectory for a tour of the space and its IoT demos. WiSTEM is joining as cohort 8 at 1871 for a 12-week program where they have access to resources for programming, mentorship and connections to potential investors. This program is structured around the many challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. WiSTEM connects women to the capital, community and technology resources they need to grow their business.
To this day, WiSTEM has assisted 64 companies and 74 women. Chicago proudly has the highest percentage of female founders in the world, which WiSTEM continues to support.
