Q: What is your name and the name of your startup?
A: Aaron Filous, CEO at Promotable
Q: How long have you been working at the Connectory?
A: Since March 2018
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: I am currently working on part time data analytics classes to make data more approachable for business people. The goal is to help people do what they do best using data analytics. Additionally, starting next year, I hope to start offering no-cost boot camp classes until you become a hired data scientist. This will open access to elite education opportunities based on merit rather than ability to pay, and help companies identify and hire top data science talent and close their data science gap.
Q: Why do you work at the Connectory? What are its benefits for you?
A: I work at the Chicago Connectory because it’s a great community and an excellent space for events and trainings. Additionally, having access to 1871 gives you best of both worlds.
Q: Do you have a website, social handles, somewhere we can learn more about you and your company?
A:
· LinkedIn (personal), LinkedIn (business)
· Website
Q: Random/fun questions: If you could learn any language fluently, what would it be?
A: I would like to learn Chinese, because I grew up speaking Italian and learned Spanish in high school. I spent a year in Beijing and started to learn while I was living there and I want to pick it up again. I think it’s useful for business and non-business reasons.
