The Shared-Use Mobility Center (SUMC) is a non-profit, public-interest organization dedicated to achieving universal, affordable and sustainable mobility for all.
By piloting programs, conducting applied research, providing policy and technical expertise to cities and regions, and initiating partnerships, we advance the deployment of shared transportation services that give everyone, regardless of ability or income-level, the ability to access what they need to thrive without the use of a privately owned automobile.
These services include:

We conduct applied research, create groundbreaking case studies, in-depth reports, and metro profiles, and policy best practices in key mobility areas.
Strategy & Implementation:
We work with public agencies and private providers to plan, test and scale new shared mobility concepts.
